Rob & Michelle Okimura, Pastors Emeritus & Founding pastors

Rob Okimura is the founding pastor of Hope Chapel Lifespring.  He previously served as an assistant pastor at Evergreen Baptist Church in Rosemead, California, Grace Bible Church Honolulu, and Hope Chapel Honolulu. Rob’s passion is to see people’s lives healed and transformed.  He and his wife Michele were born and raised in Honolulu and have two adult children.  He likes to go fishing and is a big fan of UH sports.

Michele Okimura founded Hope Chapel Lifespring together with her husband Rob. She previously worked as an elementary school teacher. Michele wears many different leadership hats, but her primary role is overseeing the Children and Youth Ministries.  She is the founder and director of Explicit Movement, a parachurch ministry that heals and empowers youth and young adults to embrace purity and healthy relationships.
